Accomodation
Our homes are designed to be comfortable, well-maintained and respectful spaces where young adults can feel secure and settled. We offer:
- 2 to 4 young adults per property
- Small community-style living
- Furnished, clean and welcoming private bedrooms
- Shared communal spaces that encourage connection and community
- Regular maintenance and property standards inspections
- Outdoor spaces
We place residents with similar-minded individuals of similar age groups, creating an environment of mutual support and shared experience and peer support.
Who We Support
Our supported living service is open to:
- Care leavers aged 18 and above
- Young adults at risk of homelessness following time in the care system
- Young mothers aged 18 and above in the care system who are navigating parenthood alongside their own journey to independence
Day-to-Day Support
Our support workers provide guidance and assistance with:
- Managing and attending appointments within the community and with other professionals
- Accessing education, employment and training opportunities
- Applying for benefits and understanding your entitlements
- Building and maintaining healthy daily routines
- Out-of-hours support where needed
Residents also benefit from structured life-skills development, mentoring, and specialised programmes designed to support young people as they transition to independent adulthood.
Referrals
Esther's Haven works with local authorities and partner organisations to provide supported living placements for care leavers.
